Cambodia, and Vietnam–use ginger generously to season their food. Bring the Mekong to your table with this spicy, sweet-tart, silky lowfat sauce, pungent with ginger. Pour on salads, stir-fries, tofu, seafood, and meats. Use also as a barbecue or dipping sauce.
Tip: When using as a baking sauce or glaze, line pan with foil for easy clean up.

Mekong Wrap: Fill a warm flour tortilla with hot cooked rice, coleslaw mix, tiny cooked shrimp or shredded cooked chicken, chopped roasted peanuts; drizzle with JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce.
Hot Chicken Salad: Brush JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce over boned and skinned chicken breast halves as they cook on the grill or under the broiler. Slice chicken and set on a bed of salad greens or baby spinach leaves. Add a scoop of hot cooked rice, if desired. Drizzle JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce over chicken and vegetables.
Shrimp Sticks: Thread jumbo peeled and deveined shrimp on thin skewers and grill. Baste with JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce several times. Serve with lime wedges.
Ginger-glazed Carrots: Toss hot cooked carrots with JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce and a little Asian sesame oil or butter.
East-West Pizza: Mix shredded Chinese roast duck or rotisserie chicken with JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce. Distribute duck, shredded jack or mozzarella cheese, and thinly sliced green onion over a baked pizza crust. Bake in 425° oven until cheese melts. Sprinkle with cilantro.
Thai Tumble: Mix diced mango or papaya with tiny cooked shrimp and thinly sliced green onions. Add enough JADE Mekong Ginger Sauce to lightly coat. Spoon into butter lettuce leaves and roll up to eat.
